Six Lesson Plans on Nazi Propaganda
Links students visited the State of Deception traveling exhibit at the Field Museum in Chicago and learned how propaganda was used by the Nazi leadership to promote falsehoods about Jews and other stigmatized groups in the 1930s and 1940s, leading up to the Holocaust.
This was an insightful experience for students, and an opportunity for instruction on the power of words to inform, persuade, motivate, deceive and create social chaos.
