How many people can you say has a beautiful name? I can say that I met a beautiful girl with a beautiful name. Her name is Samlaree Birch and she is a sophmore. Samlaree or better known as “Sam”, is a very talented, bubbly person. She enjoys writing poetry and looks up to the great Maya Angelou. Sam feels that her poetry diversifies her from her friends and reveals her self-expression. Her poetry ranges from happiness to the harsh realities of the world. Sam is a typical girl who enjoys running track, singing, and eating shrimp. She loves all types of music and enjoys artist like Lauryn Hill and India Arie, just to name a few. Although Sam is involved in different activites, she has a very hectic home life. She cares for her sister, while her mother works two jobs. She is a very religious girl, yet she is open-minded to everyone elses idea and opinions. Samlaree has an interest in journalism and education. Samlaree, with the beautiful name, has many goals and will achieve them with her determination and smile.
