The government is a parent to protect its people not a hiring agency.
We live in a country of freedom. Freedoms to trade, live, and accumulate income at our leisure and though the country is going through a rough patch it is our duty as citizens to make our country thrive.
We have fallen as a nation, this is true due to our inability to look into the preverbal mirror and realize that we are not the fairest of them all, American citizens have allowed our jobs to be outsourced and our employed overburdened by the tasks that would legitimately take a team of people to accomplish. Our blindness is due to the fact that we are not only accepted that we are a national superpower.
Look at the fairly recent bailout crisis. The 90-degree nose dive that U.S. stocks took and nearly caused brokers and analyst to prep their windows for a vintage depression-styled suicide attempt is a key indicator to the power that we as a nation hold. The realization of our power allowed us, as citizens of America to become lax, lazy and devoid of the hunger that inspired the civil rights movement. When the people who reside within a country do not demand the respect of their peers and lack fervent pursuit of the necessities that they need such as employment, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness then we leave ourselves open for our global competition to invade our job markets and leave us stranded, destitute, barren and unemployed.
My opposition may say that there aren’t any jobs to be obtained. It is our job to create them. Supply and demand when properly understood and applied are not friends to corporations but to citizens as well. Businesses will not be able to stay open if they do not compete against the little guy or smaller business. This being said offer a service based on a price held by a major business hey will have to compete because consumers understand that it is hard living out here in this economy and will go for the cheaper deal with moderate to substantial quality before paying for corporate logos, marketing, and advertising that is included in the prices of major corporations. By understanding that because we live in a free market we control our nation and everything in it. Take ownership in your country, state, community and neighborhood. And you will see a more prosperous country or a more prosperous self, it just takes bare bones handwork much like that of the pilgrims to withstand and maintain being who we are. And that is as American as a white picket fence, apple pie, and baseball.
