Chelsea James is one talented young lady. She attends Lindblom Math and Science Academy. As, a 16 year old Junior she involve herself in extra curricular programs such as Columbia Links at Columbia College, and sports at school such as Water Polo. Chelsea implies that Water Polo is a mixture of volleyball and soccer in the swimming pool. She feels that it is a fun sport. What makes Water polo a fun? “ I’m a defensive and competitive type of player obtaining a one-on-one feeling towards the other players.
She enjoys listening to music, and enjoy music artist such as, Katty Perry. Why do you like Katty Perry? “ She is very inspirational, talks about everyday problems, and she is realistic. Another, talent other than athletics Chelsea, is a dancer. Hip Hop, Tap dance, Jazz, you name it. What inspired you to get involved with dancing? “ My family dances, its like a genetic reason for my interest. Out of the three types of dances, her favorite is hip-hop. Why do you enjoy hip-hop more? “Because hip-hop is a mixture type of dance and it is ok to make some mistakes”.
