The Guest speaker Ms. Claudutte Roper Came today to talk to us about the "reality" of race. IN her discussion we talked about how black men and women are effected in this world we live in by the color of their skin, and the media. In Selected videos Black people shared their "faults" about being black, through racial slurs, self esteem issues and what the other man believes. When it comes down to it you are you, and shouldn't let any other man or women on gods green earth define you. Me speaking from a black young man i know there is still racism and wrongful treatment to a set class of people. knowing is half the battle, the war is what to do know. How can I help change the way the world views the black man. In my mind, what the other "higher man says about me will not and shall not effect me. I am me and I am black. That's me. Not what is inside of a music video or broadcast in the media. I believe that if every man or women in every race had this mind set the world will be a better place. To anyone that disagrees I ask them to break out of that shell of black is this and white is that. We are all one ''Human beings". No paper or declaration will tell me other wise. I am human
