My Summer at Colombia Links

I had a great time with the Columbia links program not only was it fun but it made my writing much better and what it takes to be a journalist. I met interesting people and got to learn about politics, and the world in general. We were able to  have such a great opportunity and get paid for it. It was something that kept me busy over the summer and now i will have something to put on a resume along with service hours.

I learned what a journalist paper consists of and the sources and such a paper needs. It might of even helped me critically think and question the news i read and watch. Which is interesting because thats kind of my high school's goal.Listening to all the guest speakers that the program provided was really inspirational and gave me stuff to think about for my personal life and future goals. Its probably the best thing i've done over my summer breaks. it was a program that wasn't too long but not too short and not too short it was just right.
