Rajah Varnando's Interview

17-year-old senior, Rajah Varnando attends Bogan High School. He plays center on Bogan’s basketball team. He is also from a single parent middle class home. Varnando is very interested in music. He likes artist like Drake and Trey Songz. He says that he likes the fact that Drake is very creative with his lyrics, and how they are so relatable. Varnando also claims that Trey Songz “Over sings,” saying that he often sings with higher and higher notes. Although he sounded a little agitated about Trey Songz’s  singing style he says that he really thinks it is unique. I asked Varnando if he would ever want to be a rapper. He replied with a strong “Yes!” and elaborated on how he would rap about his growing up as a child and other personal experiences.
